Lion's Mane is an edible and medicinal mushroom with unique biological activity centered on two classes of compounds — hericenones (found in the fruiting body) and erinacines (found in the mycelium) — not found in any other mushroom genus.
What it does
Hericenones and erinacines stimulate the synthesis of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) — a protein that promotes the growth, maintenance, and survival of neurons.
